naist-jdic-utf8 software package provides free Japanese Dictionaries for ChaSen (replacement of ipadic) in UTF-8, you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install naist-jdic-utf8
naist-jdic-utf8 is installed in your system.
Make ensure the naist-jdic-utf8 package were installed using the commands given below,
